Dr. Patricio Torres-Palacio earned his PhD, MBA and MSIE (Master of Science in Industrial Engineering) from Purdue University. In his native country, Ecuador, Dr. Torres-Palacio holds degrees in Business Administration (Finance), Law, Computer Programming, and CPA. He teaches Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Business to Business Marketing. Dr. Torres-Palacio's publication topics include Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Product Lifecycle Management. Recently, he published in the International Journal of Six Sigma & Competitive Advantage and the International Journal of Managerial Finance. He also presented his research in Barcelona, Spain. In his industry, he founded and managed his own business, JOENPAL Limited. He has also been a junior accountant and an investment & credit consultant. His favorite hobbies include playing tennis, salsa dancing, and watching documentaries.
