Professor Welch teaches courses in theatre history, feminist theatre, and theatre and film. Her research primarily focuses on theatre history and historiography as well as feminist theory and performance. Professor Welch recently published a chapter in Teacher Representations in Dramatic Text and Performance: Portraying the Teacher on Stage (Routledge 2019).
