Dozens of students were recognized during a recent ceremony as this year’s Bartlett Scholars.

This was the third annual Bartlett Scholarship Luncheon, and the second hosted by President Frederick W. Clark Jr., with welcoming remarks also delivered by Dr. Brenda Molife, vice president for University Advancement, and Trustees Chairman Eugene J. Durgin Jr.

Both Bruce and Patricia Bartlett were on hand for the event, to share some thoughts and personally greeting the honorees. The student speakers were Danielle Lopez and Sarah Rutherford.

Bruce, ’68, and Patricia (Quinn), ’67, Bartlett met at Bridgewater, and in 2004 launched the Bartlett Foundation, which has funded groundbreaking medical research, scholarships and other worthy projects.
