Big Queer Welcome
Kick off the beginning of the Fall semester at the Big Queer Welcome! Traditionally held the night before classes begin during Kick-Off Week, Big Queer Welcome is our way of starting of the year with a rainbow-filled welcome party! Big Queer Welcome is open to the entire campus community, and is co-sponsored by the Pride Center, the Center for Student Engagement, and the LGBTQIA+ Alumnx Council.
PRIDE 365 Mentorship Program
The PRIDE 365 Mentorship Program is a college transition program designed to prepare new students for success at 色香视频 throughout their first fall semester. Through this program, students will gain exposure to a variety of campus supports and resources, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ resources and community building.
Queer People of Color
Queer People of Color (QPOC) is a student run program that aims to uplift POC members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Programs are open to all LGBTQIA+ students and celebrates the intersectionality of identities. Led by students for students.
Queer Prom
Our annual Spring Semester Queer Prom is your chance to have the prom experience you've always dreamed of! Whether you want to wear a suit, a ball gown, or just your favorite jeans and a t-shirt, you are welcome here. Bring a date, come with friends, or show up solo鈥攋ust come and dance the night away at Queer Prom!
Safe Zone
The Safe Zone program prepares participants to be effective allies to the LGBTQ community at 色香视频. All 色香视频 Bears are welcome to participate, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or any other identity.
Transgender Identities Group (TIG)
The Transgender Identities Group (TIG) meets bi-weekly and offers transgender and non-binary students a safe space to affirm and support one another. TIG hosts multiple events every month and facilitates open conversations around gender and sexuality, and how this relates to their lives and the world around us.
